The portions were hearty.įor desert - our choice of 1) Butterscotch Pudding with English Toffee 2) Key Lime pie with dragon fruit. The price - reasonable, especially for this quality. The place - clean and having a certain kind of panache. Then we had our choice of 1) A wonderful and delicate and fluffy sun washed farm omelette with tomatoes, cheddar, onions and from scratch home fries 2) Hot cakes and lemon ricotta 3) A scrumptious breakfast sandwich with applewood smoked bacon, avocado and cheese. To start we snacked on 1) the fabulous Buttermilk cornbread, served with lavender-honey, homemade ricotta, and orange zest - they were soooo good, it is their specialty 2) sourdough crostini, prosciutto, and burrata - the prosciutto ham melted in your mouth and the burrata was from heaven 3) Fresh fruit and berries - the real deal and in season. just amazing ! After being seated, the owner and chef, Dora Tavel-Sanchez Luz, addressed us and walked through the menu and introduced the staff. We used the flowers from the wedding the day before for additional decoration of the tables and they were accommodating to help us do so. OMG what a wonderful wedding brunch for 80 people.
